Fascinated by the Dogme 95 movement, and it’s “Vow of Chastity”, in 2018 Andrew set out to experiment with these rules.  Using the characters of Conor and Julian, previously seen in Andrew Jamieson’s Who’s Afraid, he wrote and filmed a scene with which he attempted to achieve the “purity” sought by filmmakers like Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, and often Harmony Korine.

This scene, an excerpt from a piece with the working title Weapons, came to be the anchor for the WIP, Andrew Jamieson’s Bed of Nails.
