Next-Level Performance Coaching

Andrew Jamieson is a performance coach, director, and immersive theatre creator with a diverse background in theatre, music, and movement. He has directed dozens of projects ranging from professional theatrical productions to short films and music videos, and is known for his innovative "Immersive Reality" experiences.

Through his extensive work with performers, Andrew developed the Practical Integration Method (PIM), a unique approach to actor training adapted from David Mamet's Practical Aesthetics. PIM emphasizes self-awareness, physical embodiment, textual understanding, and the integration of mind, body, and voice to create authentic and compelling performances.

Here's how PIM can help you:

  • Develop unshakeable confidence: Own your space, command attention, and banish those performance jitters.

  • Find your authentic voice: Whether you're speaking, singing, or shouting from the rooftops, unleash the power and expressiveness of your voice.

  • Master your physicality: Move with intention, connect with your body, and express yourself with precision and grace.

  • Connect to the text: Unlock the deeper meaning of your words and deliver them with impact.

  • Integrate mind, body, and voice: Create performances that are grounded, truthful, and utterly captivating.

Andrew's coaching style is informed by his diverse background as a writer, a classically trained triple-threat performer, and an athlete. He brings a holistic perspective to performance coaching, drawing on his expertise in movement, improvisation, and text analysis, as well as extensive psychological research, to help actors of all levels reach their full potential.

Andrew is available in person (Montreal), and through video conference.  Sessions are 1 or 2 hours in length, age requirement is 14+.
